Why am I asked to swipe my Members Card every time I come up to the bar?

When you swipe your card, we instantly know that you’re a member of our club. Additionally, every time you swipe your membership card while buying a drink, you earn points! This means you get money to spend at the bar in points for every purchase. Make sure to swipe your card every time. Our bar staff will be happy to let you know how many points you have, and you can use them on any bar purchases.

Bar points earned from purchases will expire on 31st March each year if they haven’t been used.

Just to reassure everyone — this does not affect any money loaded onto members’ cards. The expiry applies only to bar points.

Every Tuesday and Friday evening we have a MEMBERS DRAW. The dollars increase every time until one member wins it.

If your membership number is drawn, you must be at The Club to claim the prize.

There is also a SECOND CHANCE DRAW - be sure to put your name in the barrel.

 
 

Our weekly Friday Draw

The Stingray Jackpot starts at $2100

Draw - Friday - 6.30pm - $2.00 a ticket, You can buy as many tickets as you want for that week’s draw. Tickets available from the Bar any day of the week.

The total from the ticket sales is divided into 3 parts.

  • 1/3 goes to the winning ticket holder, who also chooses a playing card from the display box. The box holds a Full pack of Cards (including The Stingray).
    If The Stingray is not turned over, that card goes back in the display cabinet face up.

  • 1/3 is added to The Stingray Jackpot for the following week. If The Stingray is not turned over, it Jackpots next week.

  • 1/3 goes towards The Club maintenance fund.

The Jackpot will continue until The Stingray is turned over or the Pool reaches a maximum of $5000. On the night that the $5000 limit is met, the ticket winner will get the weekly cash prize and turnover one card, If the card is not The Stingray, then a further ticket number is drawn until The Stingray is turned over.

You do not have to be at the Club for the Standard weekly draw.

You MUST be at the Club on the Jackpot $5000.00 draw.

There are two parts to the ticket. You keep one part, and the other part goes into the draw. If you cannot be at the draw, you need to put your name, phone number and number of the card you want turned over on the part of the ticket that goes into the draw. This does not apply on Jackpot Night - you MUST be at the Club on the Big $5000 Night.
